Itzhak Perlman (born August 31, 1945) is an Israeli-American violinist. He is regarded as one of the largest and most famous violinists ever.
Perlman was born in Tel Aviv. He was stricken with polio when he was four years old, but taught himself in an admirable way to walk with crutches and not give up that which lay nearest to him heart, namely music. After studies in his native town, he moved to the US to continue her studies at the Juilliard School. He made his debut as a violinist officially in 1963 in Carnegie Hall. From 1965 he began an intensive turnéliv, while he was extremely diligent in recording studios.
Perlman has won many international record prices.
