Antonin Dvorak was a Czech composer who lived from 1841 to 1904.
Dvorák is best known for his Slavic dance and the last of his nine symphonies (From the New World) but he composed in virtually all genres and created masterpieces in all of them. For example. He is arguably the most important composer of string quartets of Franz Schubert and Béla Bartók. Dvorák integrated on a large scale and with great success folk music in classical music. He is considered to be the most versatile of the great Czech composers in the 1800s, and his colorful, brilliant and dramatic symphonies and chamber music reflects the character in the popular Czech music. His music quickly became popular throughout Europe and the USA, where he spent three years as a teacher. He left behind many unfinished works.
