  • Debussy, CD

Claude Debussy (August 22, 1862 - March 25, 1918) was a French composer. Debussy got great music historically significant because he was one of the composers who helped to break down musical binding to major-minor tonality in the decades around 1900. In Debussy's case, this means that much of his music moves in some "floating" sounds that do not really look like something that was written before.

Debussy wrote in many different genres, but first and foremost he is one of his time major composers of orchestral music and piano music.
