Johann Sebastian Bach: St. Matthew passion. (in English) Kathleen Ferrier, Eric Greene, og Elsie Suddaby sings with The Jacques Orchestra, being conducted by Riginald Jacques, in a historical recording from 1947/48. In English

1 CD. Decca

St. Matthew Passion (Matthäuspassion), BWV 244

Unvollständige Gesamtaufnahme in englischer Sprache* / No complete recording sung in English**

**This production is made up of a 'Highlights' recording from 1947 supplemented by 1948

recordings of several of the missing numbers. Why these original recordings did not lead

to a complete recording (the bass aria 'Come, healing cross', for example, is still

missing) is not known today.

3 CD.
